FISH-BOAT VILLAGE RESTAURANT

Sandakan is a small town located at East Coast of Sabah, Borneo. The town produces a lot of cheap seafood such as lobsters, fishes, prawns, cuttlefish, crabs and shellfish. The average price here is half of what you have to pay for in the major cities in Malaysia.

Due to the abundance of seafood, which is a very good ingredient in food preparation, there are several restaurants here serving simple, fresh and yet delicious seafood delicacy.

Fish-Boat Village Restaurant is one of the well known places for having fresh seafood delicacy. The seafood is “fresh from the sea” every morning.

A bowl of seafood noodle will have 2 fresh sea-water prawns, few pieces of fresh fish meats, cuttlefish as well as shellfish. The well favored seafood soup is also very sweet and nice to have. A lunch set here cost only RM 5 -7 which is really value for money.

Fish-Boat Village also produces quality prawn crackers and salted fish which is the most famous among the locals.

Shall you visit Sandakan, and you enjoy having seafood, Fish-Boat Village is definitely a place not to be missed.
